The Nutcracker
My friends and I went to see a very different version of The Nutcracker yesterday. I was wondering why they were performing it so far before Christmas, but this version had very little to do with Christmas. It had the same Tchaikovsky score, but if you've ever seen The Nutcracker, you'll know that it doesn't typically include a hospital scene, a doctor/nurse romance, or guys on crutches.
It was still really fun, though.
