This is an invitation for anyone who wants to come. (I'm trying to recruit people to come on this trip.) My dad and I are hiking the Vilcabamba Trail (one of the Inca trails) and visiting Machu Picchu at the end of September/early October. The Vilcabamba Trail is a five-day trek with Llamapath Tours, and we're embarking on September 26. Our tour guides suggest staying in Cusco, Peru, for 2-3 days to acclimate to the altitude before beginning the trek. Here's the info for anyone who's interested, and be sure to pass it along! Sounds like fun. I don't think a three week old baby and I would make the trip very well though. :) I can't wait to hear all about your preparations and the trip.
Dustin wants to go with you two so bad! There are just some important things holding him bad, like his job and money. I have to keep reminding him of these.
That would be such a cool trip to make! Someday...but I am very content to go to florida again, or hawaii next time!
